great...would you want some little script kiddie hacking into your tombstone and putting 'M013 pwnS J00' on it? Programmable headstones = bad idea.

I want a coffin that has built in heat and massage.

I want one that has an joint exerciser. So that it break out all the rigor mortis.

EDiT:

I had a strange theory on earth the other day.

Lets say, there was a huge meteor, heading towards the sun. this metoer approaches the sun and begins to melt.

As it melts, some parts break off. It then passes by the sun. The pull of the sun's gravity swings it round and even more molten peices break off, making it lighter, so the sun has a better "grip". The molten meteor (heh) eventually settles in to an orbit, around the sun, along with 9 other biger peices, and a few smaller ones.

These peices slowly harden off, and become our planets and other objects in our solar system.

It could happen.

Do you usually make theories elsewhere?

There are 2 major flaws in your theory:

1) When a body becomes lighter, its gravitational pull towards another body is lessened, not increased as you say.

2) The heat that you mention from the sun that will melt the meteor will be too little to break it up from the distances in question.

I disagree Derf, that theorie is just one big flaw, not 2 flaws

yeah, but if it is going to travel passed the sun, a bigger mass would mean a harder force to pull against. Like throwing a ten tonne weight upward. or a tennis ball.

The second comment... I'm to tired and stupid to understand.

alright a-level physics time for mr. mole

meteors travel very fast they would move past a star (i.e. the sun) way too quickly for the meteor to get heated up anywhere near enough for it to break up

secondly because of it's huge amount of momentum the gravitational force needed to pull the meteor into orbit would be enormous, and the gravitational pull of a star is proportional to its mass, so unless this was some kinda of super giant star it would never be able to produce a gravitational field that could trap a meteor

hence you are stupid :P

Hence, I know I'm stupid, so :P Any hoo, maybe it was several smaller bodies. Pieces from other broken meteors etc, all globbing together like play doh.

Either way, Mr. Offensive, does it even matter? It was just a theory I came up with completely by accident. Besides, one day, maybe it will be proved true. Then I'd laugh. And if it wasn't proved true, i'd say "meh" because I don't expect it to be true anyway.

Just cuz your moms breast milk was sour :P
