Yeh it seems pretty unimpressive to me too. Although, its just a damn photos so i cant really estimate the mass of it all.

umm...you people have no idea do you
just look at pic 5, see the man compare it to the wave, that's how tall it was, and it's travelling at some ridiculous speed like 60mph or something
and there was really only 1 massive wave and that's the first one, the following ones are caused by aftershocks which just aren't as powerful...

yea guys, take a look. That 5th pic also has two boats that are grounded. That wave is huge....30 feet high or more. And just pure force. Don't forget how many people died....what's the count, 200,000?

yea, shiny found a video showing what looks like the last couple seconds of three guys. Pretty freakish stuff when they (probably) get bashed to death against cement. Or the lone guy running up the beach and just getting removed from teh world by a wave.

I was comparing it to the people, and don't get me wrong, i know that's a freakishly masive wave, and that it is just gunna destroy everything it hits, but it just doesn't look as big as i imagined. I guess that's the thing though, i have an over active imagination
