Post Brazilian wonderkid
Did you hear about that 9-yr old Brazilian kid that Manchester United is thinking to sign? This is him, and some absurd stuff he does. :o On some of the shots he's even only 6 years old, jesus. He's got better moves at 6 than I ever will have. (but, I'd prolly tackle him to pieces  )

Haven't heard about it, the kid obviously has skill.

But what i always think in these situations: what's the chance that he'll really make it in soccer, that he doesn't fail (mentally due to stress, .. or physically, you can't predict now if his body is suited for topsports).

I predict they pay a shitload of money for that kid, and we won't hear anything about him later.

Btw the same thing applies for that 6 year old american kid that played basketball and already made a big sponserdeal or something.

On a side note, a friend of mine might be transfering from West Bromwhich Albion to Manchester City.

If he does, He'll be on £5,000 per week just for being on the under 16 team.

Currently he's on £80 per week.

If WBA stay up this season, he'll probably get a rise.

5000 quid?! Goddamn...I'd be happy with the 80£ as it was, I can't even think to begin what i'd do with 5k a week. Buy myself a slavechimp and start working on my nuclear shelter/wooden cabin in Siberia is a good guess. :)

But I agree with you J, nobody guarantees that this (or other) wonderkid(s) will make it big, too...but this kid is absurd. When I was 6-9 our 'football' mainly consisted of a pack of 20 kids hoarding on the same ball...this kid dribbles opponents, scores placed shots, lobs...he really is exceptional. Let's hope he makes it, but as far as i'm concerned this kid needs to grow a little taller and he's good for a professional team already...maybe not Man U, but some Belgian 1st league team for sure. ;)

What if he changes his nationality from Brazilian to Belgian?

Agreed Satis. We were worried about that with my mate, his mother (being about 55 ish at the time she had him) made him work and work hard, which is fair enough, but every kid needs a child hood or the become micheal jackson, so we taught him the art of deception. Hey prest, he's nearly on 5g a week and doesn't hate his mom.
