you see it could have been better because it wasn't made by Pixar!
hehe, I am a Pixar nut... dreamworks is alright, but Pixar takes the cake

Got to admit House of Flying Daggers is pretty good. Saw it Thursday. Best movies as follows:
Matrix
LOTR- whole set
Original Star Wars Trilogy (should be counted as one like LOTR)
Indiana Jones- Raiders of the Lost Ark
Man on the Moon

Is everyone as aware as I am of the fact that Ghost In The Shell II: Innocence has been released? If you don't know the film(s), I highly suggest you rent or buy them. I loved the original movie and I love this one. (and Avalon of the same director in between)
I'm not a big manga fan-not at all actually-but these ones are just mindblowingly awesome.

I'll dig this one up again, for those that want to see the Episode III trailer, click here: http://www.movie-list.net/exclusive/sta ... 40x360.mov
Oh and i takes a while to load, eventually it will work though, so no panic if it doesn't start right away.

Ender's Game is being turned into a movie! I'm quite surprised. Director is the same guy that directed Troy.

scifi novel by Orson Scott Card, about a kid who leads mankind to victory against an alien menace, blah blah. It's an interesting commentary on society and morality, despite what it may sound like.
Linky to book synopsis

Constantine is wack, you didn't miss anything.
That book looks nice. I'm not gonna read it though, I'll wait for that movie.

I've seen trailers from Sin City, now that's a movie that i'm looking forward to. Rather special, but if you just look at the cast
Here you can see the 2 trailers, no need posting 2 links right
Btw that book from Satis, i bet the movie becomes a war games meets the Matrix (he's the one, he will save us).
Moviemakers just tend to screw potentially good things up.

yea, they're bound to fuck it up. Though I did like Troy, despite what alot of other people seem to think of it. We'll see. There haven't been any good book ports recently that I can think of. Some of my favorite books of all time...
The Postman
Battlefield: Earth
...ported to movies...and SUCKED ASS. Thank you so much. I will forever remember that John Travolta and Kevin Costner can suck my dick for eternity.
err...anyway...I still haven't seen Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Should be out in video stores soon...looks interesting.

Here's some news that will chear you up: Steven Spielberg decides to make a movie of ... (drums for creating dramatic tension) BAYWATCH!!
OMG how low can you go. The latest series have been cancelled because nobody watches them anymore and he goes to make a movie about it. Boy i can foresee a strong plotline with good acting there ..

I'ld expect better from Spielberg.
I always liked the Indiana Jones movies. Not because the storyline or acting is so great, just for the entertainment value, so I'm quite eager for the new movie. Does anyone know how serious the plans for it are?
