I read a similar thing recently about the russian army. Dunno if it was here or somewhere else.

Deepcut is a training base for the Royal Logistics Corps. The RLC makes up 16% of the entire British Army and 12000 RLC NCO's are from the Territorial Army (low-paid, low-level, low-value = practically militia).
So basically you have a shit load of TA militias that have nothing better to do in life than gang rape their own comrades. I know someone that joined the army, he is half neanderthal anyway and the word lickspital and scally come to mind at the same time, if half the army recruits were like him I'm not surprised these allegations came about.
