Post Labour Conference
<SOCIO POLITICAL DISCUSSION>

I watched the Labour conference the other day live on TV (Labour is the socialist democratic party in power ATM in the UK). And I was disgusted at the protests going on.

What happened in detail was that at the begginning and about in the middle of Blairs (leader) conference a protest broke out involving no more than one bald-headed jerk-off at each occasion. Undoubtedly, these morons could have only been Conservatives (Opposition, Right).

My point however is this. In theory and in this instance i saw this protesting as a form of mini-terrorism. Ill try and explain. I believe that the thing the US and UK and rest of the Coalition are doing for Iraq and Afghanistan is superb. In my view, they are doing it on the principle of democracy and humanity. The problem is howver now, that there are the odd few extremist-fundamentalist morons that feel that their tiny minority is superior to all other and must be enforced extremely, namely by killing as many innocents as possible.

Now, these protests were in no way close to it, but they were a form of terrorism. The 2 men, in the crowd of thousands, representing a minority party infiltrated a mass meeting (which of course has no place for non Labour citizens) and shouted, making havoc, interupted the speech and got a few lines in the tabloids the next day.

Now this is bullshit. i think that the morons involved in making these protests should be slapped, and this whole gatecrashing shit come to an end.

No one likes a party pooper.

Sounds like our democrates(like your socialist swine). They are a bunch of loonies. If you dont think their ideas are any good then they think you are a moron or they arent speaking loudly enough, so they raise their voice.

I`m very satisfied you use these words, since they describe a bit what i feel when i see these party conventions (no matter which party) and such, they seem too much "Party" (like in happyhappyjoyjoy).
To me politics looks like serieus business, and these conventions lack one important thing: criticism.
I haven`t seen or heard much about this particular convention, only that Blair made the people eat out of his hand by putting on a very keen planned show (like tatata music .. blair walks in triumphantly). But it reminds me of the big shows that Bush and Kerry put on in front of their own support.

What i also noticed in politics is that nobody is really listening to what the others have to say. They only come with their own arguments. But that`s nothing new of course.

I`m just fed up with politics. They`re all morons and what`s worse, they have to rule our country, and yours. :(

Yup, our current government is a bunch of morons too, but if there would be elections now, we would get a labour - ultra-socialist - green government coalititon, wich would be a serious reason to migrate to another country.
Labour used to be ok, but now it's ruled by a huge populist, and the greens and socialists have always been morons.

I oppose to the greens because they oppose to Iraq.

@ J

There was some criticism in the conference, but the sole purpose of it is to "rally the troops" and get them all motivated.

Yeah i know, and i think that motivating the troops sucks monkey balls. They should judge you on what you do and don`t, not cheer on commando or approve everything in some stupid speech.

Btw opposing a party because of 1 point seems logic, but i`m sure can`t find a party which program suits you the full 100% right?

all politicians are equally corrupt.

At least most of you are in countries with more than 2 political parties. All options might suck, but at least you have options. In the US, we're virtually limited to the 2 parties. There are other parties... but they're excluded from public debates, they don't get the backing and air time of the other parties, and most people don't even know they exist. What's worse is that the 2 parties are getting more and more similar as time passes. I figure it's only a matter of time until the two parties are really the same (just different in name).

LONG LIVE THE PARTY OF THE UNITED STATES

lol. Satis got the right idea...no doubt he'll be the one to rise to power too. :) If you see the moronic nitpicking going on between the democrats and republicans you know that it's because they don't got anything useful to say that distincts them from the others.

If I HAD to choose between the tow i'd go for democrats tho...On the other hand, if Bush and co stick around the US would become even more of a bombing target, and me consequently less. VOTE BUSH!

you will be reeducated!

I'd vote libertarian if it actually made a difference. But it doesn't. Either the elections are rigged, or 95% of all US citizens are mindless cows following the herd intinct.

I vote the latter. Stupidity at that level can't be faked.

Satis, in US terms, if you vote libertarian, what exactly would a "liberal" be liberating the US people from? Its not like we are oppressed.

And, I tend to believe that the 95% of Us citizens, that vote, are high intelligent and able to make sound decisions. It’s the 5% that don’t vote that are mindless cows, or any independent /moderate.

As far as libertarian, it's their view to liberate us from big government. Less laws, less centralized control. More control in the hands of the states and the individual. You may disagree, but that's my view on stuff.

For 95% of the US voters being sound thinkers, I must disagree. But there isn't much point in debating something like this. I'll agree to disagree peacably.

they're "high intelligent" huh? ;) I should have all power. I'll found the People's National Communist-Facist-Democratic-Libertarian Union and destroy all who oppose me with my superior intelligence.

All hail the PNCFDLU!!!
