It's one movie seperated into three parts, like you can buy the book in three seperate volumes.

Post A lot of LOTR fans
Like the title suggests, I think there is too much LOTR fans. Too too much... It's a conspiracy!
Anyway, I'd put the LOTR trilogy under the "one-movie" catergory than the "3 different movies" catergory.

It sounds fair enough to do it that way.

Now we can apply it to other multiples such as:

Star Wars
Indiana Jones...

Arathorn: O Brother where art thou! I also like that film! Have you got the Soggy Bottom Boys song?

I have

Digging up an old topic here, but I can cos I'm a supermod (with delusions of grandeur). :P

I just saw Requiem for a Dream, and fucking hell, it's been a while that a movie gripped me like this. Kinda like with Cidade de Deus, only this is more...'real'. If you want to see a movie that'll stick with you for a while, go rent it. You won't be disappointed. :)

P.S. recently saw The Village, and that one was ok. Slightly predictable, but still pretty neat.

You mean they were wack?
Well, off course, what else did you expect? I went to see the Chronicles of Riddick some time ago, also a crap movie, but at least it had Vin Diesel in it so it was very entertaining.

I like both Spiderman and Irobot. Spidermans main problem was that it was too mushy and not enough spiderman.

But then I'm biased about spiderman because it's directed by the man who made Evil Dead, it also contains cast from evil dead. Wahey.

The problem with Spiderman is that Spiderman is in it.
In fact, that was also the problem with the Hulk, Catwoman and all those other comic-turned-movie productions. Those comics they were based on weren't original in the first place, let alone movies made after them.

I think the stories could, potentially, be ok. Most cartoons (IMO) have enough material to make a potentially interesting movie.

The problem is, they don't. Spiderman blows. So do most other comic movies. I think that's more the fault of Hollywood then the comic book industry, though.

I liked the second Xmen movie, mainly because there was a sizeable body count. The first one sucked. When you can count the number of dead people on one hand...well....the movie sucks. heh. Spiderman was gayness. Haven't seen 2, but I'm sure it was just as bad. They took every hollywood cliche there is and used it...several times. Not to mention repeating scenes. Any time a movie repeats a scene, it becomes awful crap.

Batman...I'm iffy on that one. I have mixed emotions about the batman movies. Some were good, some sucked, but they all had really good ambiance, which counts for alot.
