As a statement how your taste in music can change: i used to be totally into hardcore (house-hardcore, not metal-hardcore or something). Boenkboenkboenk gabber hakkeeeeeeuh djoef djoef djoef. Never had my hair shaved off though. Thunderdome, rings a bell somewhere?

Now i can say i have a broad taste of music.

Heh, you've come a long way!

Hip Hop doesn't stink, at least real Hip Hop. It's been a long time since i heard that on the radio.

I hate urban.

Hehe i sure have. Just got in a nostalgic mood and searched for an online radiostation playing hardcore music. If you don't know what i'm talking about check out: www.happyhardcore.com and chose radio. Man what was i thinking.

My brother finds it funny as well, i have a thunderdome t-shirt (don't ask) and wanted to throw it away. He took it in case he ever needs to dress as something really weird, funny, ... .

Ah lol, just wanted to start a whole litany about how people who should run things here don't do their jobs and other people like Pig and I don't have the Power.

Guess i was wrong.

*btw: radio station is not 100% hardcore, also mellow and other stuff*
**as if anyone cares or is able to listen to it half an hour**

Pig split it off another post. Not the slightest idea what the original post was, though.

Anyway, DEATH METAL RULES! hehe

/me pictures Satis at a Pantera concert 10 years ago

Everyone who doesn't know the Pixies yet, or not well, go get their "best of" album thingie that just came out. I think it's called Wave of mutilation. You won't be disappointed, believe me.

listened to a Gorki song lately, and found this a nice piece of lyrics:

Ik zei dat ik voor haar wou sterven
En dat vond zij niet fijn
Zij hield van dieren en van mensen
Die in leven wilden zijn

In English:

I told her that I'd die for her
And she didn't think that nice
She loved animals and people
That wanted to be alive

misses it's effect in English, but blah, you get the idea.

Nice list :) Lords of Acid are Belgian, lol. Even though they operate mostly as Pragha Khan over here, their "other" group. I've been told that they have some sort of cult following in the USA and Asia, heh. I run into their singer all the time, last thursday even. She lives a few doors away from my best friend, and she's often in the same bar as us. Where she's often being slutty, lol.

*cough* What?! You freakin' bastard. I love Lords of Acid. They kick ass. The fact I was 'not fully sober' at the time of their concert may have increased my lvoe a bit, but man...great show.

Of course, I think she's butt ugly, but that's just me. Band's still cool.
