It basically says that a million+ users deleted all the songs they'd downloaded off the internet. My first (and only) reaction:

WTF? Are these people fucking stupid? The only way the RIAA is going to catch you is if you share the files out. Why the FUCK would you delete them? Just move them out of your shared folder!

This just reaffirms my belief that 90% of the people on the internet DON'T FUCKING BELONG THERE!

Kinda like the Nigerian scam... if you're stupid enough to send large sums of money to someone who sent you SPAM, you're a freakin' moron and deserve to be ripped off. A fool and his money are soon parted.

I find the RIAA most amusing, on all p2p sites noobs are whining because the get letters from thier ISP.

And you're fucking stupid if you use Kazaa, with Kazaa Lite you can disable people looking at your shared list, and the RIAA only sues people with more then a 1000 songs, but without the shared list, they'll never know!

1st: Its a bit harsh calling them stupid. Not all people know exactly how the internet works.

2nd: It could be purely a fictional article (this is very possible).

lol that is true, a lot of people don't know how it works, but still, some of them must have a clue and are therefore stupid.

lol that thing someone was just on about (too lazy to check) about sending money reminded me of this article i read. go to www.bored.com and it's something to do with some bloke getting over $100k or something out of a bank because some spam sent one of those adverts through your door saying you could cash this cheque for that much, and he did, and it worked! sorta. anyway, i'll warn you all if you do go and read it it's VERY long, a good few pages, like about 13 LONG internet pages. But i got addicted to knowing what happened. Don't remember what it's called though. Just look through the links.

Best thing about it was the fact it got one over on those damn spam companies
