Post clankiller redesign sneak peek
I'm rebuilding the entire clankiller.com website and thought I'd provide a sneak-peek of what the new version will look like. Suggestions are welcome if you care to make any, though I reserve the right to ignore anyone.

Looks tight! I'm assuming the forums will remain in the style?

Pretty curious how the rest will look now. :)

what Derf? Isn't that what I put?

Ox, I plan on upgrading the forum to the newest version and will do at least some basic styling. Depends on how hard it is... for this version of phpbb, styling a forum is a bitch and a half. Hopefully they simplified it some for the next one.

Rollout is still a few weeks out, probably, so stuff may change.

I think the announcements thread is for mods only, so not being able to reply is expected. Sorry if it's causing issues. Feel free to post either in this thread or open a new thread under suggestions. I'd rather keep announcements mod only for now unless it becomes a serious problem.

Regarding the logo, absolutely. When I get around to modding the style, putting in a logo is one of the first things I'll do. It just may be awhile.

Love the new theme and setup. So much easier experience overall. I looked at those predesigned layouts and schemes but most of them sucked outright and the few that looked ok were incompatible with 3.x.x.

Yea, that was pretty much my opinion. I think this was actually one of the best.

Anyway, if it's not obvious, I fixed the avatar problem. I also squirreled around with forum permissions a bit and, assuming I read it right, the suggetsions allowed anyone to create a topic, but normal users couldn't reply. So I just opened it up. You guys should be able to reply to the suggestion thread now.

I'm the only 'mod', per se, but there are a list of people that are part of a moderation group and thus have the same abilities. So, technically I'm the only mod, but technically I've been the only mod the whole time. :D

BTW, still having avatar issues with myself and Ox. Rather than trying to fix it, I'm just going to manually reupload my avatar. Ox,you may wish to do the same. If you don't have it, I can give you your most recent avatar to reupload if you'd like... though it's Oblivion, which seems a tad dated.

Scratch that, when i clicked on admin it only showed one name. However there is "the team":

memberlist.php?mode=leaders

Go Team Clankiller!

hehe. I like the new theme. Still taking a bit of getting used to the forum but it's still essentially the same thing. Kinda grown on me now. Keep up the good work Satis :)
