Shouldnt it be 'Other Games...' not 'General Games...'
I think its good how people in the General Games forum have intuitively kept discussion of a game under its own thread. Were not as dumb as we seem.

I merged all the forums. You'll find BG + NWN and whatever else there was all under the RPG topic. I didn't actually delete any posts except for the only the roleplaying topic. |

It all depends on how popular the BG and other former RPG forums were. If they were low activity, then you can nuke them and create a single Baldurs Gate II or Icewind (or whatever) thread in either 'General Games' or this new 'RPG's'. As is the current trend. If they were well active, then you will have to re-open the BG or IWD (or whatever) forums. Personally, i didnt think they were active enough to justify a whole forum. But i also think there are some errors in the current solution. For example, now you need to put all the RPG related threads from 'General' into 'RPG'. You would also need to either nuke all BG/IWD fragmented threads in this 'RPG' forum, or thrown them all in a new thread of the game theyre about. See what i mean? |
