K, theres definitely something wrong. At times my browser just doesnt get into the site. It just stays on "loading" too much for me to care, so i close it. But when i do manage to get it, i need to log in.

I just had the exact same problem. To the T.

the site goes through bouts of slowness. Not my fault, my hosting provider... meh, you'll have to either live with it or find another host with at least 20GB of storage, MySQL, PHP5, cron, perl, 400GB of monthly transfer, and a web-based upload ability. For $100/year including domain renewal. :P

Is it just me or is the site in a bad period again, meaning a lot of connection problems, failing to load ... . Having to log in when i finally get in. Just sharing my troubles with you. :P

hehe...not that I'm aware of, at least. It's actually been pretty solid for me, with the occasional oddness like a page that doesn't load. A refresh fixes that for me and probably has to do with the load balancing my provider does. As for slowness, I seem to be lucky lately... it's been pretty snappy for me.

I take it you're having some issues?

I've experienced the same problems on CK tbh...I also have to re-login at least a couple of times a day and when I do I have to enter my login and password twice. For some reason. I should probably clean out my cookies and temp internet files.

But anyway, I agree with J: the site is weird sometimes.

I'll agree, it has bouts of oddness. Shortly after posting that last one I got some strange internal errors and other stuff...now it's all happy and bouncy again. I dunno...until I migrate hosts there's not much I can do about it. If I felt like coughing up $100/month I could go to a dedicated server. No more lag then. :) Problem being I don't feel like coughing up that much cash.

hm, no, that's not normal. It implies the SQL connection failed, probably because the MySQL server was offline or unreachable. I'm afraid there's not a whole lot I can do about it, as it's on my provider's end. Well, other than switch providers. I've kinda been eyeballing a VPC host, though my costs would go from $8/month to $50/month. Still, it'd be nice to actually have snappy server response and some serious bandwidth.

Anyway, how often are you seeing this?

Only happened one time and i could reach Clankiller 10 minutes after that when i tried again. Was just wondering if you had been doing stuff or it was the provider.

Provider in this case. Thanks for the report. Please let me know if you run into anything like that again.
