also is Emule/ donkey any good? supposed to be more secure than kazaa

I don't know about Thunderbird, but I like Firefox quite a lot, although you'll need to install quite a lot of plug-ins (that's what I did anyway).

Anyway, no Thunderbird experience. As for the clock, I autohide my task bar, and I usually have quite a few windows up and running.

btw, Pig, if you use Firefox I highly suggest the web developer plugin. Some really cool tools.

I have only used it for cross browser compatablility tests, but I'll check those out.

you can see it in my screenshot and probably figure out how to get it. You're smart enough to use google properly. Anyway, I used it regularly when building complex pages and whatnot.

One-click disabling of CSS and various stuff, you can change the stylesheets on the fly, enable/disable images, outline all table cells in red (this one I use alot), and a bunch of other stuff. Even website validation, but I don't really care about being validated.
