Hmmm, whilst Black & Whites sepc's on the back of the box aren't that High, I tried running it on a slightly less powerfull computer, and It used to like to crash, slow down and sometimes the odd graphical fault would occur. First, try re-installing black and white. That is land one, so maybe you haven't got far, but my girlfriend (pevil) can tell you how to back up your creature, incase you don't want to loose it.

Also try defraging the hard drive, running scan disk... if you really get stuck try a format. (Carefull with that last one, read a guide first to make sure you have everything to put the os back on)

But in the end, you are really going to have to upgrade your computer, because this could be the cause of the problem.

Also there are some patches available, i don't know what they fix individually, but they might help.

Dude, you made it here! Lol. Satis and Pig are the more technical guys, hopefully they'll see this. But yes, if you need to reinstall, make sure you ask me how to back up your critter, not nice if you lose it and its not as simple as in most games (still easy enough tho)

I've seen this issue. Though not in B&W. It has to do with the nvidia drivers you're using. Try uninstalling whatever version you have an using a different one. I had this same issue in battlefield: vietnam and just installed the version of the detonator drivers that EA supplied.

Here's a copy. Mrmph...just noticed you were on ME. Well, they supplied a version for that too, so I'll just post that.

Before doing any uninstalling, I'd try this (it's a hell of a lot easier). If that doesn't work, you're probably better off following Pev's advice. I played the game, but am no expert.

On the windows XP update website i downloaded the "latest Nvidia" drivers, and the "latest" Cmedia drivers (my sound card) the Nvidia ones did ok, but the C-media fucked every thing up.
