Post Dead monitor
Right, my monitor died today, currently using my little tv which has a rubbish resolution *sulk* So as I'm upgrading my whole pc anyway in November (topic to follow in a month or so ;)) I'm considering just getting a small tv that is not crap to use as my monitor so my 360 can also remain plugged into it. However I'm a total newb when it comes to monitors. What kind of stuff should I be looking out for? Or is there such a thing as a regular monitor with dual HDMI ports perhaps? I never use the tv as a tv so it's not exactly important for it to have anything other than HDMI/VGA (and as mentioned, with the upgrade I'll probably get a graphics card that supports HDMI output anyway, fairly sure my current one does actually).

Looking at popping into Argos tomorrow after work maybe so any suggestions/tips are welcome.

edit:
Been looking on the Argos website and these monitors are all looking nice, any thoughts?

They seem to all be ok. I'd avoid the 20 inch one with the 1600x900 resolution... no point in going anything less than 1080p. Beyond that... not too big a deal unless you're a graphic artist or something. Choose one you like the look of. Big's not a bad idea, too. I'm currently on a 24". I like both LG and Samsung as manufacturers, but I'm also a fan of Asus. I'd definitely recommend Googling for reviews of the specific models you're looking at, just in case there's a quality problem.

It looks shiny and awesome so will set it up later and give it a whirl :)

lol....shiny to me means "picks up fingerprints and dust", but to each their own. I hope your monitor is treating you well, and congratulations.
