erm, my last link is about a worm that exploits the same holes as msblast does, but what it does is remove msblast if it's installed, downloads security patches from Microsoft to fix the problem, and then (January 1 2004) removes itself. Basically, a 'good'
trojan.

hey, thats pretty cool, but If I have the microsoft patch on my PC, won't that then block what the blaster worm exploits and dissable its self sending abilities?

yea, if you've got the patch, then MsBlast won't do anything. Nor will the other one. This is just for all the people that haven't patched.

well on my fourm at ALLA (link in sig) there was a report of the virus now coming in through email, if you wanna check it, its in the genreal section.

And dude, you got infected? Did the general sypmtoms occur?

Heh...firewalls are the most overrated crap in the universe...most l33t computer ppl don't bother with firewalls, ocs they let the heavy shit pass anyway. :)

How you get virusses in from e-mail??

I mean if i see a mail from dunno-who with dunno-what attachment, i immediately delete it. even if it is from someone i know i delete it most of the times if i don't trust it.

zone-alarm pro pffff i can't even get my settings right, stupid thing blocks my laptop. so i just disable it :P .
