Looks fun, although the lcd borders are a huge no no at the moment.

yea, but it's way more expensive than a bunch of small ones.

I'd like to see smarter monitor using applications... I use dual monitors at work and it ROCKS for coding. And pretty much anything else. In fact, a third would be nice.

I could see having more monitors set up with specific software running in it, but not part of hte desktop. IE, monitoring software, or maybe compile logs, or whatever. With a desktop-level app that controls the display.

Anyway...I could see the use.

lol. How does everything always come back to O'Cram and the Porn Matrix?!

O'Cram: All I do is what he tells me to do. If I had to choose between that and the Matrix, I'd choose the Matrix.
Derf: The Matrix isn't real.
O'Cram: I disagree, Derf. I think that the Matrix can be more real than this world. All I do is pull a plug here, but there... you have to watch Jenna Jameson come.

haha. Awesome.

Still planning on my new PC for February/March..., thinking I may got tri-monitor with ati. 3 21" widescreen monitors would be pretty hot....

But I dunno. I may settle for a 24" widescreen.

Am I the only one who'd never do this, if not for the price, but because of the annoying screen edges mucking up the entire point? :( I'd much sooner buy a digital projector and play games on wall-to-wall view.

Nah, you'd want the 156" tv in the other topic.

I would do the 3 monitors in a heartbeat.

Yea, I'd do 3 monitors. My work PC has 2 and it's indispensable for development. Code on one screen, compile on the other (or whatever). A third would be awesome, I could have multiple windows of code open.

As for gaming, I think I'd limit the game to the central monitor for the most part. Unless my box pwnt and I could really extend my view out horizontally without affecting my frame rate. It'd be like playing now... only you can see even further to the sides.
