Can anyone tell me a place to download Qbasic? I want it on my computer so that I can send stuff home from college. I've tried some sites but they presume you have Qbasic

You still have hands?

BTW, C++, C#, Python, etc. ... goes thru brain. Not thru hands.

I've been trying a bit of Python some time ago. But now I don't have any time for it.

Yes I still have hands, anyway, isn't C++ outdated by Java?

no... no no no. C++ is still a very good programming language. The advantage of Java is that it's cross-platform compatible... you can write some code on a PC and it'll work on PC, Mac, Linux, etc.

I tried learning it, though, and there are many drawbacks, too. It's slow (since it has to partially compile every time you run it). Its memory model seems to leak/have issues. Things aren't always truly cross-platform, even though they're supposed to be.

Anyway...I'd rather learn C++.

C++ and Java have their own advantages and disvantages I shall not have time to list it now.

But I can say I got Java is writted in C++.

BTW, I also got MS Java goes out because of C#. Truth, or no - we shall see. MS is illusive company.

Right, we use Qbasic since the teacher thinks its the easiest language to learn, I can already make Hangman and a Horse race on the program but have still got to find out how to make bets on the horses.
