an AJAX post gotcha
just ran into this. Basically an ampersand in a post request will screw up your post. I guess I've just never used an ampersand before. It makes sense in retrospect, I just never though about it. Unlike GETing AJAX requests, POSTing is pretty browser-safe.
I use the following to get around it.
content = content.replace('&',escape('&'));
