Well it wasnt really a loin cloths, more like leather/fur underroos. As you can here, fur boots, something on his head, a necklace, and some wrist armor. 
Below is a model of conan in the end of conan the barbarian, the big fight scene where he whipes out Thusla Dooms army pretty much. 
Maybe heavy? |

yea, looks like medium, maybe heavy. But no gauntlets, for sure. Not sure what he has on his legs. And I wouldn't call Conan stupid...that bastard got laid alot. |

I'd say thats light. Its just leather with a chunk of metal on his chest. |

I wouldn't consider anything with a big chunk of metal on it light. I still maintain medium armor.

well, that's crappy. Then I'd say heavy chestplate, light helmet, and no armor elsewhere.
