I like the "you are over-encumbered" in some of your vids

hehe....yea...I get overencumbered a LOT. It's amazing how heavy those cheese wheels are. :p It's my loot fetish...most games I play, you grab everything that's not nailed down and sell it. But you can't do that here...way too much loot. Doesn't stop me from trying, though.

no, I've barely advanced the quest. I spent alot of time wandering around exploring. I'll be playing some more today (duh) and may actually reach the city I'm supposed to be heading toward.
btw....I probably will not be turning up my graphics settings. I'm great in most places, but when I get into fields of waving grass, my box starts to lag something fierce. It's a great game so far. On a negative note, I haven't encountered anything actually challenging yet. I remember getting my ass kicked near Seyda Neen in Morrowind, but so far all my encounters have been minimally difficult. I also can't figure out how to sleep in a field..it looks like maybe you do have to find a bed of some sort in order to sleep.

specs:
xp 3200+ processor
1GB pc3200 RAM (cas 2)
Geforce 6800
WinXP SP2
that nuff?
oh, I finally managed to advance the quest a bit. I finally found someone to sell all the grab I've been lugging around to! yay! I also just realized I had a bunch of crap in my backpack I'd forgotten I'd picked up... Like a skeletal ribcage, a bunch of crappy cups and plates...a fork....an hourglass... some tongs. I must've been snatch happy. :p

Hmm, We have the Althon 3500 64bit, but the gfx card is the 6600gt (pev's is the 6600)
When I've got the money for the 360 version, I'm not looking forward to the minute long load times. What are they like on your PC?

yay satis, that's relieved my mind a lot, thanks Was worried I'd be running it on crappy graphics since my gfx card is just under the recommended (6600 256 instead of a 6800) but my cpu is slightly better as mole says (3500+).
I'm always like that at the start, pick everything up to get gold. Then get selective once I'm already rich

yea, you'll be able to run it, though like me you'll probably need to dial down some of the options. It's ok, it still looks gorgeous.
To answer Mole's question, load times are short. Going into houses and whatnot causes real loads, but they last like 2-3 seconds if that. Loading between cells or whatever moving along in the world is virtually transparent...the only reason I know it's happening is because of the on-screen message.
I'll probably take some more vids and such tonight.

If I get the game on the 360, I'll be sure to tell you about the load times. This is the one problem with not installing, everything has to be read from the disk. hehe But lets not turn this in to a Console/PC thread.
