Post Wizard/Rogue Problem (?)
Ive decided to start a new party in IWD2 including a Wizard/Thief.

Problem is, when i levelled him up to Lvl1 Rogue and then Lvl 1 Wizard, i expected to be able to make him cast spells.

Well, he doesnt. Apparently in the Spell Book, it sais there are no spell slots available. (Blank space where it shoiuld be).

I check his Profile and it sais Lvl 1 Rogue and Lvl 1 Wizard.

So whats going on?

Thanks.

hmm, i expect your char prolly has more than 10 INT, but anyhoo:

A wizard needs 10 INT at least to cast lvl 1 spells, 11 INT to cast lvl 2 spells etc. SO if your char has 9 int no spells for you.:/ Same goes for clerics and wisdom btw.

Can't think of other reasons.

P.S. i'm a bit rusty on 3d edition AD&D so it could well be 11 INT to cast lvl spells, 12 for lvl 2 etc.

Ah no! sorry, i figured it out. Just a silly little bug. I had to memorize a spell before it could tell me how many slots i had available.

But thanks anyway 'ox.
