Funny thing... or was, eh?
This was when I first time played BG2. I desintegrated Jon. I'm sorry
for bad quality but I lived in belief that should be like that and
cared not much for proper saving that screenie.

Weird, you'd expect the makers to make sure such things couldn't happen, like with Imoen and her belt in Jon's dungeon. Did you play on or did you reload after this unfortunate accident?

I once petrified Firkraag with a chromatic orb. Very annoying that mage wasn't just a level higher. Off course I reloaded and killed him the normal way to get his goods.

Hehe, that's just plain luck you petrified him. Same thing could be said of desintegrating jon of course, but since he's a bit vital for the plot, it should be impossible to kill him like that.

Hehe...very nice Gfreeman..
Btw, don't underestimate lvl 1 spells. Many of them become stronger witt each lvl you gain..MM, chromatic orb, spook...spook ownz u. At a high lvl yhey have to make a save at -7 lol. Even Firkraag gets scared out of his pants at -7, believe me.

Is that rock angry or is it my imagination that it has another colour normally speaking?

Hehe...is the "odd" thing that the imp's body to the left is in the wall? Cos i know he's always in the wall when you come in.

Nay, nay - nothing about colours on all image and nothing about that imp. Thing is more obvious when you are in game. I doubt if I ever again see that bug.
And again, (unfortuanately) I regret that I have not heavier evidence of that what was happened here.

Ok, my two guess's are:
1. Imoen is red by no normal means (like mind controll spells) (p.s. I think it's imoen)
2. That weapon of much gold colour, might be the flail of ages, and can you get it at that point in the game?

Off course you can get the Flail of Ages by then. That's halfway the game and the D'Arnise Hold is one of your first quests.
