Nothing beats the feeling of being a high level mage in BG2 ...... just throw a few Horrid Wiltings around, flop out out spell sequencer with various nasty spells in it..... ahhh, heaven.

Mage >>> Dwarven Barbie

I've just started an elvish monk, so I'll finish that first (this time I hope the game can catch my attention long enough).
That dwarvish stuff looks cool. By the time they've finished it I might pop in.

lol. admitedly that is kinda sweet when you timestop and pile on the spells, then wait for the computer to catch up with the effects on the screen. :D

thing is, dwarfs get a better deal in nwn imho simply cause in bg2 you get a poncy little battleaxe, and in nwn the joy of the two handed version, which is great fun. just wish that you could lob of limbs and heads, that would be even better. :D

elven monk? let me know how that goes, their a bitch at low levels.keep trying to play a cleric with daelan as henchmen, but stumbling over traps in the prison really sucks. :x might try a multi paladin/cleric for that greatsword joy..

I'm with that no-use Tomi now, but I want to trade him for something spellcasting. I survive all traps and the ones I don't survive the bastard can't disarm. The OC is easy as hell so my monk hasn't been in real trouble yet, except for in the tomb of Halueth Neverwinter in the Blacklake district. 5 or 6 friggin' flying greatswords. :x
But I'll come back and destroy them later.

The AI isn't too great with some of the spellcasters. Boddyknock chucks fireballs at goblins.

GOBLINS!

But the cleric isn't too bad, or the bard.

I believe bodyknock is the only mage/sorc available to me now. But I'm gonna get rid of Tomi, that bastard attacked me twice! For no appearent reason, just attacked me when we were fighting bloodsailors. :x

Dumped him now, told the twit it was just temporary. Now i'm gonna pick up Daelan Red Tiger to kill the flying swords in Nevers' tomb and complete the chapter. :rifle:

They're not that hard. I did it fairly easily with my mage, a pixie familiar, a summoned hound archon, and Daelan. It went something like - run in, get all minions to attack, then nuke 'em with every offensive spell available. I was left to kill a rather wounded one on my own though.

I guess it's easy with Daelan. That's why I'm gonna try it with him now.
