Nope not edwin, it's a "he" as you said though.
So we're looking for someone you meet in the game, and you could have heard of him by speaking to a family member of his, who gives away the name AND a funny nickname people call him by.
(ps where have you met a relative of edwin ..)

Ah! it's that guy in Cloakwood! Forgotten his name but he is against the druids and if you support the druids you can meet his brother later in the game.

You do have an interesting point there, i know the guy who you`re talking about and indeed you do meet his brother later on (if you kill him). He`s some kind of merchant guild leader or something.
anyway you`re wrong 
The other part of the funny name isn`t here though, so i`d say good try but unfortunately not correct.

Hang on can we just recap we are speaking about a guy that has a relative that you speak to in the game with a funny family nickname. Haven't a clue then. Is it a party member?
