It's got a demo because it's a Total Conversion, rather than a mod.

Q: So when are you releasing this bad boy? A: NEVER! MUAHAHAHA! ... right. We on the DLTC Team don't give release dates. Glory of Istar will be released when it is ready, and that may be a long time or it may be a short time. Who knows? In any case, a good while before the finished version is out, a downloadable demo will be released for public consumption. I always liked Dragonlance more than forgotten realms. Always annoyed me that all the AD&D games were based around FR.

heh, if i might have known dragonlance better i might have found it a pity, but since i don't, i don't really care anyway. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss. Only very sometimes tho.
