Post Dual Class Question
Is it possible to dual-class an Archer to a mage? I'm thinking I could make my archer specialize in the sling, then dual him. Is this possible?
Thanks

If i remember correctly, a 'kit' class can never dual class. Not sure about it though. Have you checked the bg dual class faq on the main forum??

here is nothing mentioned about an archer/mage. and you would probably need amazing stats to get a good one too.

If you wanna be 100% sure, you can always make an archer with the required high str, dex, wis AND int ( ) and see if you can dual him.
Or wait for someone else to confirm my statement (or say i'm wrong)

Right now actually having bothered to check the Dual class guide myself, no you can't dual an archer into a mage. You can only dual rangers into clerics, so you'll have to use a fighter and then dual class into a mage, but obviously you won't have the called shots nor will you be able to have as good a proficiency in the sling
