What, being too low level? I'd imagine it will if they jump all combat in BG3! How do they level up otherwise? Pretty sure that you'll have to fight the boss at the end ;)

Funnily enough, this was in the patch notes for the most recent BG3 update:

- Experience is now awarded for avoiding combat and completing smaller side quests.

(apparently people used to talking their way out of situations would be underpowered because they skipped all the combat XP :P)

Oooh ok, interesting! I mean it does make sense as that's always been a D&D thing, with the persuasion type stuff. I guess if you went super thief and snuck past everything too it'd be the same as jumping past it all but still... would be funny if you can just jump on the final boss and squish it from a great height.

Regarding early access, I did buy Kerbal Space Program, Kenshi and Rimworld in early access. No regrets on any of those games. I still play Kerbals (though it is in release state). So... pick and choose, but early access can be amazing.

Minsc?

It definitely has coop! It's pretty central to the game too I think, if the previous Larian games are anything to go by.

I thought we already knew Minsc would be in it? That's one of their main selling points isn't it (to old fans at least). Mind you re-reading this thread apparently we didn't. Maybe it was just all the wishful thinking that got me assuming that haha

Yup minsc was announced awhile back. This is just hype video to explain how he can still be around after so much time has passed.

I either missed the fact Minsc would be in this, or forgot. I've started the game a few times (including in co-op with Shiny) but end up getting distracted and playing something else. I really should play it again... it's not a bad game at all.

I'm pretty sure he is not in Early access part.

I have the game but I didn't play even a minute of it yet since it's still in early access so I wouldn't know who was in it or not. :P But Minsc is a fun addition!

I'm sure it'll be an amazing game once it's done and all the classes/skills/stories are in there and properly balanced. Larian has proved itself to be the best RPG-with-combat game in town for a few years now, and I can't wait to see what they will do with the franchise. :)

So it's like 30 days to release.

Ox you want to coop this perhaps?

According to Larian, BG3 has 174 hours of cinematics. :o
