Re: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Looking forward to Witcher 3 a LOT. The series is probably my favorite RPG series of the last decade, so yeah...I'm up for the final part. Pev, go finish the first! Then play the enhanced edition of the Witcher 2, I command you!
I see you're playing it right now Peltz, how you liking it? Engrossing stuff huh?

I get addicted to dice! Seriously of the time I've played #1 (only just in the first main town after you get arrested and get out) probably 80% of my playtime has been on dice.

I burst out laughing when the dwarf went: "my favourite kind of magic, lesbomancy."
The biggest foe of this game is Geralt himself. He is like a cow on rollerskates. Every time a combat starts i want to pull bag over my had and run through the nearest wall. He is so unresponsive. On too many occasions i hit opponents twice or thrice and then press S to back out but Geralt desperately still tries running forward, he needs to take a few steps forward and then turn around. This has gotten me killed oh so many times already. Merchants that dont speak to you but their icons show on map etc. Too many obvious bugs and a combat straight from failbook really drag the game down.

Current livestream pre-E3 for Witcher 3. So far covered the various editions you can buy, including an unboxing of the CE, GoG Galaxy (their version of steam) and The Witcher Adventure Game. Hopefully there'll actually be some Witcher 3 stuff soon...
edit: or not, it's over now.

Re: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Anyone preorder this? I have a friend who did, but didn't do so myself. I don't doubt that the game will be great, but I won't run the risk for the 10% price difference you get from the preorder.

Been awhile since there was activity in this thread. At any rate, check out this youtube video. Looks pretty freaking epic. The Witcher 3: Skyrim. I mean, the wild hunt.

Looks sick (the good kind). I'm just worried about my little old PC not being able to handle all that prettiness though.

Re: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Well, Gamespot actually gave this game a perfect 10 rating, which isn't something they do very often. All the reviews seem to be pretty positive. I remember the first Witcher I liked but had some serious gameplay issues. The second was better. Maybe they finally nailed it. I'll probably wait until my next PC, though.

Tell me about it. I want to play this game really bad, like "willing to spend 50 euro of my jew gold" bad. But I'm afraid it might blow up my PC.
Especially in Maltese summer conditions sans AC. Bring on the 44 degrees!

Jeez man, you want a swastika to go with your wallet?
Still waiting to build my new computer. Goddamnit. So many games I want. So little processing power.
