Had no clue they were working on another one, 20 minute video but it looks very promising. Still got the detailed world with loads of little items you can pick up/move around/interact with and got a nice little item combining system. I'm also intrigued by the fact they've changed the combat to a more turn-based, fallout-like style. And I particularly like the fact that only PC is listed as the format for it.

Yeah very excited about their return to old-school isometric RPG. :) With this, Inquisitor and Project Eternity we're witnessing a veritable renaissance of them...gotta love it.

In case you didn't know, Larian also ran to kickstarter with their game to increase its budget and give it more polish. More content, more dialogue, more time to perfect the game. They asked for 400k and reached it yesterday! I contributed, in a fit of Belgian chauvenism. :P Also because I like their games haha.

The vidoes of the game so far look like a lot of fun, so it's a worthy cause.

Yea, it looks good. Definitely more interesting than Borderlands 2, which was just Borderlands with bigger maps.

This is the true reason why im looking forward to it.

Because Divinity: Original Sin features a turn-based combat system, this can lead to pretty interesting situations.

I did see that, really can't wait for this game, the Divinity series is awesome, the latest one being the 'worst' in the series but still very very enjoyable. I love that you can still interact with many things in the world unlike most rpgs that will only let you pick up 'real' loot. I like being able to random move pots around on the floor!

Did either of you kickstart the game? Just asking because one of their tier rewards is 2 copies of Original Sin + a copy of Dragon Commander (which also looks like a ton of fun). The 2 copies of OS is so you can play the game in co-op with a friend/significant other/random person, in case you wondered. :)

0 kickstarts. I'm in a strict 'observe' mode only.

Aight. Well, I guess it doesn't matter if you know the game is already funded or not. You can still see if it turns out great and buy it when it comes out...the extra price may well be worth the peace of mind that the game is not utter shit haha.

I'm either getting old or becoming grumpy but i can't seem to enjoy new games lately. It's like playing re-runs or something. I guess that's why i enjoyed Darksiders because i don't usually play games like that.

It's normal, we all go through it when we get older. Tastes change etc. :)

Although, most of the games being kickstarted are "old school". Shouldn't be too different to get into for old timers like us! ;)

I haven't, I've been tempted to kickstart a few games but haven't with any yet. The trouble is I look through the packages for them and go "ooh that looks nice... oh but for just $5 more I can get this... oh and another $10 I get this" and before I know it I'm looking at the super awesome $10,000 package and just can't figure out where I should stop. So I don't start.
