Yeah "contractual issues" or something.

Apart from playing Black Pits, i haven't even gotten to Nashkel so ... lots of work to do. And now i'm contemplating starting a new character. :D

It's awesome that you're playing. I noticed the other day was like "Hah! Now he's not going to get anything accomplished in the real world!"

You might remember (or not) there's a powerfull ring outside the Friendly Arm Inn, which is a bit of an easter egg. Now I was looking a bit in the manual, found this which is pretty cool:

The Friendly Arm was once the hold of
an evil priest of Bhaal who was destroyed in undead form by a band of
adventurers led by the gnome thief and illusionist Bentley Mirrorshade.

....

Bentley once confided in me that the greatest instrument to his success was a
powerful magic ring, which he has since lost. Although methinks he misses it
dearly, some precious things are better left unfound. If ye find Bentley’s ring,
t’would be a kindness to him not to mention it.

So there's an actual hint that you can find this ring in the manual (now?).

lol, there we go. At some point Shiny and I may start another game. So many good memories. Though we may have to dig out some intoxicating substances to fully relive those memories.

33 hours played, dear god i'm so addicted

Btw one word of advice if you would play BG:EE = pick an evil party!

I decided to go the 'good' route and picked up Minsc, Dynaheir, Khalid, Jaheira & Imoen.
But so far 2 of the 4 NPC's i ran into are pretty awesome at first sight (statwise) but since they're evil they don't fit in my party.

I'd love to do a party with
- Edwin
- new NPC sorcerer
- new NPC blackguard (= evil paladin)
- probably Viconia for old times' sake

But i'm not restarting now :D
