Mm i guess there aren`t any xp-patches since the game is rather old compared to xp.

btw: i haven`t patched my game yet (i think, it was installed already but the ring of wizardry near FAI was still there, and satis said it would disappear if it`s patched) and didn`t have any troubles yet.

Never had much troubles with bugs in bg1, unless i consider the Totsc-maps, who caused me some troubles sometimes.

So it`s not that critical to patch your game unless you start playing totsc.

i think

well, i've installed both components with each getting the latest patches i managed to find from bioware.

i cannot BELIEVE the difference btw bg and bg2!!! inventory, character sheet, you name it. and the graphics suck...

and jaheria actually looks BETTER! why the hell did they chance portraits... :?

Yeah well if you want nice graphics you`d better not play bg1. Only thing that is a bit annoying is the slow movement rate compared to bg2. Now i got my boots of speed and i send someone (hidden preferably)around the whole map to see where i got to be. Because if i have to wait for everyone it takes forever. Especially now i`m in the city.

i still haven`t patched it, although i just had some weird blue screen when i wanted to use polymorph self, changing cd, minimalize and maximalize, and it was okay again.
