Can anyone tell me what a 'Shifter' is? A Druid with lots of shapeshifting abilities or something :?
Says it's released Fall 2003.... good

epic levels! w00t!! :D about time our 20th level characters had somewhere to go.

i can't believe they say fall, i think thats being a bit optamistic, seeing as how so far we don't know a lot about it.

must say, i'm looking forward to this one now even more than i did sou. i just hope bladesinger is one of the new prestige kits.

What's the Epic stuff? Everyone is happy when they hear it, but I don't have a clue what it is actually :?

new weapon types, new voice sets, new music tracks, and a new item-crafting sytem.

New... weapon... types.... woooooo!
New item-crafting system.... woooooooooooo!

Other new touches include new weapon types, like whips and dwarven waraxes, and more class-specific feats, like the bard's curse song and lasting inspiration.

I can remember that Kobold Jumper Master asked for Dwarven Waraxes (like other things that weren't in the game, but requested a lot)... thought they were normal battle axes though :? What's the difference?

Like Shadows of Undrentide, Hordes of the Underdark will feature six new prestige classes.

Right.... did I miss a Prestige Class in SoU? There are only 5 in SoU.... things like this make me feel sad

Best of all, there will be romance scripts to make henchmen interaction more interesting. Hopefully the romances will be as interesting as the ones found in BioWare's Baldur's Gate II.

Hmm, could be interesting
Btw, thought Bioware said there weren't illithids in the game :?

lol, 3 sets of  in one post, i take it your not impressed.

no idea what a dwarven war axe is, maybe it's halfway btw a battleaxe ang greataxe. apparently the whip is also going to be a new weapon.

the new item crafting system could be fun, ever made your own items using the tool set? great fun.

as for the 'flayers, they might not even make an appearence, just involved in the plot. very interesting story also.

seeing that article has just made me even more impatient for it!!!

Oh, but I am impressed, I just like the 's  I saw the screenies on that link, haven't seen any non-drow :? Think we'll get another 'we'll turn you into a Drow with magic so you can do your noble quest' thing?
Made myself loads of weapons and armor, never used most of them though

lol. :)

i'm hoping that it's just showing what the residents will look like, rather than the characters themselves. still, nice to see drow who don't have those terrible moustaches.

Hmmm, now that you mention it, I suddenly remembered something: Drows are Elves right? And Elves don't have facial hair, do they? Is it a major NWN mistake or just one of my weirdness outbursts?

Wha-wha-whaaaaaaat! Though the Neverwinter Wednesday was just the patch :? Wooooo the Flayer and Beholder look awesome! Can't wait!!! Wish it was Wednesday :(

The Drider and Spider-Demon look cool as well  And I see there is still a bit of the old Creature Profile style in it:
Drider: special ability: Much larger than your average house spider...

Shame the descriptions are serious now  I really liked the old style.

And another thing, the ability stats of the Beholder Mage:
Str 10, Dex 10, Con 12, Int 20, Wis 15, Cha 15
So this thing has a higher charisma than some of my PCs :? Right, Char hasn't much to do with looks

This game is going to be terrifying for those NWN fans with arachnaphobia :?

Edit: This isn't a Balor is it? What is it? A Tanar'ri? A Bateezu? :? I'm riddled
