No surprise there who the bottle is for.

I have no clue who the bottle is for. Probably some dwarf I haven't made the acquaintance of yet.
I didn't know that about the dog... very handy to know.

Another nice little detail i just discovered:
i had the option to 'mark my territory' (with the dog, not with my main obviously) against a tree. After doing that, i got dominance bonusses in that area. Pretty cool idea.
At first i thought the dog wasn't that useful, but it's small things like this that make me want to keep him in my party.

I read the dog is good DPS at the start of the game bu other melee outpace him later in the game. He does have a good AOE stun.

Yeah his stun howl is very good. I don't know about the DPS, he seems to be a good tank to me. I often send him towards the archers to keep them busy while the rest takes down the melee characters. Generally works well.

@ Satis...spot on re: booze.
I'm using the dog now in my second playthrough as a Dalish ranger, just to keep with the vibe and all (animals etc). It's a lot of fun, but yeah, you best use a good tank next to it.

I created her before you told me you were playing as one, bish. Maybe I should start over with a new charactern, a Dwarven Noble or summit. I'm bound to play the origin some time anyway.

Next game I play, I'm going for a basher. I want to beat things to death, probably with a shield and sword. Maybe human noble, if that's an option.

I actually wanted to play as a mage, but the fact that I'd HAVE to play the mage origin kinda turned me off as Peltz and Pevil played it already. So I went Dalish ranger. Turns out you chose that.
I might still make that mage and turn it into a twisted, sick, vessel of pure evil and blood magic.

A blood mage would be cool. I wonder if that changes anything with the storylines involving blood mages.

I discoverd yesterday that you don't have to be in camp to switch party members ... woops. Not that i would change my current setup often, i like my party as it is now (although i get too many casualties to my liking).
Slowly progressing through the game. I got Arl Eamon back on his legs, that's about it.

Haha, yeah, I only found that out halfway myself. But it's not EVERYWHERE, just in the areas that would allow you to directly travel to your basecamp anyway (so the areas that give access to the world map).
Are you liking the game J?

Yeah, it was probably coincidence when i noticed it. I'm at the mage tower now, it happened right after i picked up Wynn.
I'm enjoying the game, the Ashes quest was pretty fun, only get my ass kicked way too often.
I'm a bit torn between having Wynn or Morrigan as my party mage now. I'm more of a 'good' person than anything else, so i'm having slight problems keeping both Alistair and Morrigan happy. But i also like having Morrigan around. Dilemma.
I'm currently thinking of taking Wynn along, and take Morrigan (+ Sten + the assassin guy i killed ) for a more evil party on a next play. With me a badass dwarf as tank. Although that might be situated in 2011 perhaps

I got Wynn, Morr, and Allistar. Morr is great crowd control/dps especially if you got cone of cold, force field, crushing prison(i think is what its called).
