I read that, but since i didn't play Mass Effect, i guess it wasn't that funny to me.

I'm ready to go to the Landsmeet btw. Slowly progressing towards the end.
I FINALLY got me the assassin codex in the Alienage (i regret killing Zevran so much), so my rogue can get her second specialisation. I'm around lvl 19 with most characters. Main has hit 20.

heh... waited until level 19 to get your second specialization? Hate to tell you this, but you're at about the end... I doubt you'll be able to level much more.

In my game, I got toward the end of the deep roads, then my characters hit level 14 so I stopped and am now going after the ashes. I want to unlock the reaper specialization for my main. Currently in the gauntlet. I was trying to do the phantom bridge part at 4:30am while drunk as shit and it wasn't working out too well for me.

lol. I even had trouble figuring it out when I was sober, so yeah, I wouldn't recommend it. :)

Did you plan your character specifically around the reaver specialization Satis? I am with my blood mage, boosting his CON for when the time comes. :P (he uses HP not mana to cast his blood spells)

I vaguely knew I was going to get the reaver specialization, but wasn't planning out what skillset or anything. I got it, by the way... be forewarned not to have Wynne in your party or she'll lose her shit and attack you. I went outside, switched her out for dog, then contaminated the ashes. After that I went outside, got my reaver training, and killed the rest of the cultists. I plan on coming back in a few levels to take out that dragon.

I'm now in the Brecilian Forest, already at the werewolf den. My character's wearing the Duty/Effort set of armor... I think I'll be using that for the remainder of the game. After wiping out the werewolves I'll head back and finish the deep roads, then it's just Redcliffe left.

If I play a third time (and I very well may) i'll be making a mage and going after the blood mage ability immediately.

btw, once you destroy the blood, you can't go back to camp or Wynne leaves. I'm avoiding that for now, but eventually I'll probably have to let her go. If I do, I'm thinking of taking Ohgren in her stead and letting Morrigan handle light healing duties. Having had him in my party for most of the deep roads has endeared him to me some... it's nice having him standing next to me, swinging that big ass sword.

Yeah i know, (cap is 20 right?) but since my rogue is really about doing backstab damage, other specialisations weren't that good at all. And well, i killed Zevran before i realised your team members can teach you stuff.

I had been saving up some points and bought some books though, so i'll still be able to get to the end of the assassin tree i think.

yea, those books can be extremely helpful. I actually finished the brecilian forest and ended up with more than 170gold. So I bought a really, really nice ring.

I completed the Brecilian Forest (as noted above) and, once again, took out the elf. Yea, if I go for a third round I'll be sure to side with the wolves. I almost did that, but Zevran would've been pretty pissed at me, so I decided not to.

I then went back and finished the Deep Roads. This time I sided with Branka, pissing off Wynne more. Not that it matters, she'll leave me soon. I'm about to need to head to camp to apply runes and get stuff to make potions, so she's about to go away. Too bad... besides a group heal, Morrigan doesn't have much to offer as far as healing is concerned.

Anyway, so I beat down the golems and got Branka her stupid anvil. I then volunteered to have Oghren turned into a golem, but she refused.. pissed off Oghren too, but whatever. He's still mostly friendly to me, since I've given him ridiculous amounts of alcohol.

I'm thinking I'll do Redcliffe, then head to camp and dump off Wynne.

lol @ Oghren. I proposed the same thing. "Make me a golem, you can use Oghren's soul". I wasn't even evil...well ok maybe that WAS evil. But he annoyed the shit outta me for taking up Sten's spot right before the battle with Branka/golem man, even though I didn't even gear him up or anything and Shale turned on me as well...so it was me, Morrigan, no Shale and a crappy Oghden. On hard. A boss battle. :( So I resented him. Afterwards I started liking him tho, with his drunken rants and come-ons. Reminded me of home!

I think you should have killed Wynne when you had the chance Satis. Won't be as satisfying to see her walk away...or maybe you'll get a "nobody leaves me!!" option. That'd be neat.

hehe... I really wish there was a way for me to apply runes to weapons without going back to camp. I'd like to see her end story. But alas, it was not meant to be. I'm currently in Redcliffe... defeated the night attack. After several reloads I realize there's no way to keep Morrigan happy there without letting the village get wiped out. That'll certainly be my goal next time.

Oh yeah, Morrigan (and Sten) will very much disagree if you decide to save/help the village. I had a friend who told me that Sten even went "right, we should be stopping the horde, this is bullshit. Draw your weapon...duel time". And after he beat his ass, he submitted to his leadership. How cool is that? :) Can't believe there are still people hating on this game.

I had Wynne and Oghren in my party and they started having their conversations. Oghren shared his home-made ale with her and she actually enjoyed it and wanted more. Bizarre side conversations at times.

So anyway, I finished Redcliffe and let the mom kill the kid. I then took out Flemeth, followed by the high dragon. Bother were pretty difficult fights, but I did ok. Flemeth especially... I had Oghren, myself (fighter) and Zevran with just Wynne doing healing duties. It took awhile, but the three hand-to-hand guys managed to beat that dragon to death. It was awesome.

I got my dragonbone armor equipped now and will be heading back to redcliffe to begin the next part of the game.

Haha, curious to see how you will deal with the erhm, duel choice.

And Wynne is a saucy wench when she's drunk you say? Sheesh.

Apparently she has a taste for good ale. I never would've guessed.

I'm now in Denerim again, turned in some quests, picked up some more 'interested' ones and will probably put those to bed real quick before pursuing the princess.

I've completed the game for the second time, this time with my noble dwarven reaper/champion. The reaper skills are a mixed bag... with decent healers about, it's not too bad though.

*spoilers*

This time around I put Anora on the throne, but spared Allistair's life. I also picked up Loghain, though I didn't actually do much with him.

I tainted the ashes to pick up the reaper skills, but that didn't seem to affect the end story. I also backed Bhelen, my back-stabbing brother, and he actually gave me back my name afterwards as reward. You may recall that I knocked boots with a couple dwarven wenches and one had my child, which is now a noble as well. This time I also sided with Branka, so I got to call on some golems during the final battle. They did a decent job of beating on the final battle before all dying. :p I chose the rescue the elves from the alienage, as before.

For my reward I chose a title and riches, always a positive thing. I was also made a paragon and got my own dwarven house, so if nothing else, I've left quite a legacy. As you may have guessed, I chose to not sacrifice myself... Morrigan ran off with my child once more. Allistair became a drunk. I'm not sure if I missed anything important from the ending.

I've since started my third character, a human female mage. I'll be heading to Redcliffe once I get that far to pick up my blood mage skill. I also plan on picking up the arcane warrior. Both of those trees will benefit greatly from high magic and high constitution, so I think it should be a pretty good pairing.
