Try disabling all but one core if you're on a dual or quad core CPU. It helps for some games like Kotor, so maybe IWD2 too.

well, the .exe for IWD when i tried the "set affinity" shit was already set on 1 CPU afaik. It showed CPU0 checked and CPU1 unchecked.

Just throwing out suggestions. You probably already tried a few though! Are you running XP or Vista btw? if the latter, that's probably the problem right there.

haha, i did that once in IWD2. I think it was pretty easy except when i got attacked by tank-like enemies.

So which game and when are we going to play. I wouldnt want to set up a game on the same day as you guys have l4d because it would be just too much.

Anyway ive been thinking about IWD2, i would bring a druid, and perhaps some multiclass bard or palading. The druid would be a definite one though. Deviating from the must have builds only makes it more epic.

Fridge it is for now. :( Too bad NWN2 sucks so much in MP, or we could have gotten to act II by now.
