Ehm, all this can be extracted from the *.acm files in /music/ and in higher quality. :) For those who have an installation and acm2wav of course. :)

Still, nice collection, with some (or some more) components missing. What about final battle song in BG1? One of the best on that game stage.

*edit*
Aww maaan, now I went through the pieces from BG2 and ToB. Some really great pieces are missing.

I would like to have these instruments in my possession. :) Nice sampling.

Yeah, it's nowhere near the complete collection (or the best quality or most accurate collection) but I was just bored at work and scouring youtube...and figured it was a nice way to have the music 'at hand' at work for people like me and you guys. :P

I do have Michael Hoenig's music at home on my pc in the original version, though. I feel like Jeremy Soule's IWD's music is a little underappreciated btw. The IWD main theme isn't as good as those of the BG series but the overall atmosphere music is very, very good.

Derf, I like those too. Especially the Brynnlaw music. :)

How about these?

Probably some of the best soundtracks ever in games.

For the paradox' sake, the piece passing exactly to wiping the lord Roenall's ass would be this:

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=D26ZIEjNRgc

Gosh, my fighter was able tearing them all into pieces.

Since I couldn't find it properly performed, here's the original too. It's zipped since *.mid ain't allowed here. :P Lots of cool music back in Duke Nukem 3d either. The newer games are, the poorer soundtracks are.

I would post one more from ToB that is must hear. You might find it odd that I gave name by the impression the piece made on me. In truth, I do not have real names of the pieces so I had to put anything. :)

beforemath is a cool word :) Is that from BG2 or ToB? It sounds more ToB-ish, for some reason.

The Duke Nukem 3D theme was played by Megadeth, right?

Some more good soundtrack stuff: Divine Divinity. Has a very medieval feel to it that fits its universe well, and they don't have the budgets of other games.

Main theme
The four seasons singing
Drunk with dwarven mirth

Check out the music on the website for Divinity 2 btw, very cool:

http://www.divinity2.com/

Or how about some tight-ass Frank Klepacki (of C&C fame) music? :)

Iron Fist
Just do it
Mechanical Man
Thang
Hell March (RA1 intro)
Industrial

That was a great, pumping techno-rock RTS soundtrack. :) Awesome.

I actually said it is from ToB. If it was available in SoA, I'd say so. :)

And again, I will mention that some songs of Symphony X perfectly describe the atmosphere of Morrowind. Unfortunately, not much of that is to be found online.

Passing to dwemer ruins? ;)

Divinity2 and the four seasons singing are excellent.

Gfree: Symphony X is ok, but I wouldn't say it fits Morrowind very well. But maybe it's just me. :P

World of Goo has a soundtrack that's better than anything I've heard in a long time. Unobtrusive, enjoyable, atmospheric...just wonderful.
