Yea, we're on 1.03. It's still extremely and almost unplayably buggy. It's really very frustrating. I mean, we have a party of 7 I think...Shiny, myself, and 5 others. The AI broke entirely....so I had to manually control 6 characters (including my own). They wouldn't even follow.
We managed to "fix" the AI by just dumping the party at an Inn and reforming it... I also applied an AI mod that someone developed (hoping it would fix the AI)... so actually now the party seems to be a bit more intelligent. But if the AI ever breaks again, I'm not sure I'll be able to keep myself from throwing the game out of the window.
Anyway, other than the bugs, the game's pretty good.

Heh... and such crap was released.
It really should not wonder that people like the games less and less.
Commodore rules!

One thing I can say about my Atari 2600... the games never crashed.

Atari 2600 FTW!
What games did you own? I had, among others:
Ikari Warriors
Moon Patrol
Defender II (of course)
Donkey Kong
Grand Prix
Pac Man
Midnight Magic
the Smurfs
Space Invaders
Spiderman
Dark Chambers
Desert Falcon
And a lot of them I can't remember, or can't remember the name of anyway.

I have always been gaming on pcs, but we used to have Moon Patrol and Grand Prix as well (I assume you mean Grand Prix Circuit Ox?).

Yeah, could be...it's not all that clear in my mind anymore either. Moon Patrol was hard as hell on the faster levels!
And Peltz, I'm sorry. I'll start playing NWN2 myself as soon as the next patch is released, so I'll compensate for my sins.
Funny story about NWN2 bugs: a pal of mine was in some dungeon he was teleported into, and couldn't rest there (he's a mage) and most of his friends said they could. So he goes berserk saying the game is a fucking bugfest and tries to find ways around it and does so after a lot of time and effort. Turns out that he was playing on "core rules" which makes it impossible to rest in that area, while his friends were playing on "easy" so could rest there.
The moral of the story: NWN2 is so buggy that it's hard to even differentiate bugs from game mechanics.

This one? I also played Castle Adventure (see other attachment) to death. Text adventures are very hard when you don't speak a word English. Moon patrol was indeed fucking hard and frustrating on higher levels. I also played a lot of Prince of Persia and Risk on that pc.
Ah the memories.

Is that the japan-map on that GP screenshot?
I am used to know every corner of that one.
And yes... Prince of Persia. I was even making my own levels for it.

Yes that's Japan. Although I'd never seen it in colour.

Arathorn, my racing game (which I think was named GP too but I could be wrong) was a side-scrolling game. So it wasn't anything like on the screenshot.

We played for a bit last night and it was great until the ai broke again - we zoned and it started working again. Just very frustrating when you don't know when it will break say mid battle.

I had to manually control all the party members for the remainder of the battles. Very irritating.
And even if you set the suckers to puppet mode, they still follow you. When the AI breaks, they don't even do that much. They just stand there.

To me it would be easier to stop playing it than to bitch about it.. that is how I left MP1. Was crashing in random time.
More interesting would be playing Oblivion on 80286 in CGA with 1MB RAM.
