Don't laugh at me, they hurt! *ahem* anyhoo one thing I like is that monsters actually vary in difficulty. E.g. in uo, once you can kill a zombie, you can kill a zombie. In EQ if you take on a lvl 12 gnoll, you might kick its ass. Next time, you might get a 'strong' lvl 12 gnoll, or even a 'heroic' one, and it'll be your ass handed to you. Plus the fact I haven't been playing this for 3 years, so unlike UO, the world is new to me, I don't know where hardly anywhere is, and so its all wonderous and new. |
