I'm currently in the Durlag's Tower. Just got the job with Kirinhale, the nymph on the highest floor. I'll cite her

I shall repaint the walls with your blood! A little re-decorating will make the next hundred years a little more bearable!

Now, aye, the my Question. :) What, in your opinion, one true paladin should give as a reply on that, before inevitable fight?

I just considered something like: „Shold I take that as a compliment?“.

A 'true' paladin? He'd go something like "VILE CREATURE, I WILL SMITHE YOU FOR THE FORCES OF GOOD!!", I guess. Maybe yell a little bit about Torm and Lathander in between.

I have not got opinion she is really a 'vile creature'. Hers (we speak of Nymph) alignment oppose to paladin's but in mening chaotic-lawful. Not in meaning evil-good. Knowing that, I guess one paladin must feel that hers actions are actinos of one hopeless creature who just don't control self well in unjust situation. She is captured by Durlag and should remain on one place for many years. She cannot accept it and search someone to replace her. Sadly, that IS something what is in the nature of evil - selfishness, but I think that hers impuls to kill him in is momental, and result of distortet judge in hers tortured mind. Not something what comes from hers inner nature. In the worst case, she is just lost her mind. One Paladin could see that and try to reason her, I think.

Man, I really am jealous of the way you can get into the game like that. :)

And mm, if you put it that ay you should maybe have the paladin try to convince here to become 'good' again...like

"wait, you don't have to do this! Isn't there some way we can work this out without any bloodshed?"

Yes, one question often open another one...

now I wonder what would one true paladin had to say on such replies. :? I'll now probably just turn my backs and go.
