I'm studying engineering not English. That's (partly) your job. And I think most of the time I write better English then you do.

But don't take jokes like that too seriously, the entire context just screamed for such a remark. I'm aware that my English isn't too marvelous for someone majoring in English.  Even if i can do better than what i write on the internet in general, just a matter of focus.
