Yes i finished this part recently.

It is VERY hard.

Here is how i did it:

Look at the map just outside the Maze (press pause). Do you see 2 lanterns/posts on the ground? There is one beside the rear of the Airship.

This is yuor rally point. If you see closely you can see that this area can be used as an effective blockage so that only your fighters suffer melee attacks.

What you need to do is, stuff your mages in there first then block the entrance with you fighters. Cast as many cleric spells as you can and while you fighters hold off the attack, use mage spells like Fireball, Magic Missiles to kill off the monsters.

It is also useful to summon.

Another tip, for some reason Harpies get killed easily by a well placed Skull Trap spell.

The most important part is to find the place i am talking about. (just right of the door you came out of).

Hope this helps.

Good luck mate.

Really? Never noticed that

I've had some near-death experiences after that part btw, i always stumble in fights unprepared and get my butt kicked. But didn't have to load much. Worst fight was were i had to resurrect my fighter during the fight to be able to retreat my barbarian who was about to die. Just as the rest of my party. Stupid yuan-ti cobol dunno what. Sneaking up on me like that.

Juan Ti Cobol? I thought you means Juan-Ti-Kobold.

Now THAT would be weird.

I too have had some near disaster experiences. The worst ones are when youre just about to win, then suddenly, your cleric dies.

Hehe true, if the fighter or so dies you can still resurrect him, but if the cleric dies it's over. My cleric is a pretty useless fighter anyway that's why i prefer to keep him in the back.

And those cobol things dunno the real name yuan-ti cobol something, it's in the yuan-ti temple, about 5 or 6 of them, they attacked me in the back when i was fighting of all the rest (mainly a bunch of assassins and some yuan-ti mage) and that really sucked. but in the end i killed them all and my characters were all alive (or back alive :P ).
