W00t...another good game...too bad Inqui had some (or better, a lot) problems getting BG2 up and running, but anyways.
So, Me was controlling myself and Pev the suicide cleric, BJ his fighter/thief and Inquisitor's Wild mage.
So, first off, we enter the slaver compound, and take out captain Haegan and his boys, easy enough. The the trolls in the room next to them, withj Bj panicking for a mo cos he had run outta acid arrows
and then magically casting one after all from a scroll hehe. The, surprisingly
, Inqui got killed by setting of the trap at the stairs. So, we reloaded, disamred it, and reached the other part of the ship. To be short, Inqui died in a sec, Pev was waiting two rooms further, BJ was running off to heal and Rinox more or less pummelled everyone by himself.
(this isn't big-headed talk, it's what actually happened :p )
We decided to raise inqui later, went to Hendak in the CC and gathered our reward, and raised Inqui in the temple on top of the CC. Off to the docks district then, where we killed off a beggar who had the guts to pinch a WHOLE goldpiece from me (-4 rep), and that priest of cyric that attacks you. Then into th shadow thieves' building, talked to Renal, went to Maevar, got first assignment to collect the statuette from the temple of Lathander. So we did, we killed entire temple of Lathander, and while we were on it wiped out the order of the radiant heart as well, got some good cash outta selling all the plate mails.
Bj went after the fish-cleaning boy, Melvin , as well.
Back to Maevar then, who directed us to edwin, who at his turn told us to kill the mage nearby. Off to his house, when we come across Hareishan the vamp. She's attacking shadow thieves and we don't have to fight her but i decided we should, only to find out that none of our weapons could hit her.
So i cheat-killed her cos i didn't feel like loading a save from way back and then not attack her. Didn't get any Xp that way so blah. killed the imps on his first floor, BJ getting lvl-drained from trap.
Then, we had a bit of a prob on the second floor with the golems, cos no one except fro our cleric and mage had blunt weapons, but tnx to Inqui's minute meteors and Pev's enchanted hammer we took them down pretty easily after all. The mage itself was kinda funny, Rinox went in and attacked him, followed by BJ and Inqui. The mage casts power word fear and Bj and Inqui spend the entire fight running around hehehe
Nm, we killed the mage in the end.
Then collected the papers for Edwin, then took care of the traitor for mae'var (which i accidentally mercied his life, ugh) and reported back to renal. (ooh, btw, in the meantime we had edwin hike along, for uhm, logistical reasons hehe)
We killed Maevar and his gang rather easily in the end. then the strangest thing happened, me, a barbarian, got the thieves' stronghold from him.
I sent everyone out on the highest risk possible, and if the'll complain, i'll kill em all.
After that BJ left, and me spent time selling of the useless stuff and buying new things. We had some 22000 gp at the time, bought Inqui some scrolls. With some 12000 left, i went to the shadow thieves to do the sell-steal back-sell-etc..thing. Was going along pretty well, but when i got to 100 000 i got caught and had to reload and decided to cheat in the 150 000 i was going for instead. I could have saved/reloaded until i got it right stealing, so i don't consider it cheating, it's not like i made a zillion cash or anything. Blah, anyways: i bought at the CC: stonefire axe for me, some 7 scrolls for Inqui again, and mebbe i should have bought Mauler's arm for Pev, but anyways. Then in the adventurer's mart bought: Mercykiller ring (for BJ) Robe of Vecna, bracers of defense AC3 (for Inqui) Aeger's hide (for me) rod of resurrection and shield of balduran (general).
So, we're getting on cruise speed. Our money is like 2000 gp after that shopping spree.
Hope you agree with the shopping choices BJ, i really needed a weapon better than a +1 and a normal axe, and a better armor than my friggin splint mail.
Btw guys (BJ and Inqui), after all maybe it's idd best to drop Edwin..i mean, he's a great mage ofcourse, but controlling 3 chars is a bit of crap. Like BJ found, controlling 2 chars at a time is already quite hard, so let alone three. I'd have to pause every three secs in battle. The coolest thing is ofcourse to have to control only one char, then you can have a real-time well-oiled party battle. Anyways...this was the report of our session...rep is at 7, and falling hehehe
