Just wanted to say sorry for not being online (much) this weekend...I got an exam on monday. Not such a problem An Sich, but I also was really sick yesterday so I didn't do jack then...and didn't feel much like GW. So now I gotta pick up eveything today, heh. You see the lack of GW time.

I might hop on for a quick single farming run, but that's about it. No missions or quests until monday evening, sorry fellas.

meh, no biggie. Shiny's ranger and my monk surrendered our pets today and picked up bears, then spent the rest of the day levelling them (while assisting an ex-guildie of hers with levelling). Not sure exactly WHY I have a pet bear, but hey, are you gonna argue with your monk?

Depends what area I'm in, really. But I guess I'll get me R as secondary and a bear...sir.

double-post but: just found out today that every char has a max gold limit of 100...not THAT surprising, but still. It's different from many other MMORPG's, for sure. Now I need to bring some 100k from my war to my stash and/or on my other chars, heh. This also means that you can own a max of 500k on one account (in cash). But once you hit that, what do you do with the money or items you find...anyone know? I'm looking at you Satis, ya rich bitch. Do you still "share" in party money, cos it doesn't go anywhere?

I dunno...the limit is pretty lame, though. I know you can only hold 100k on a character, but the limit in your stash is higher. I have 160k in it right now. :p

Of course, I think he size of the stash is pretty lame, too. I mean, if you collected every green in the game, I don't think there's enough stash space to hold em all. that's pretty weak, imo.

hehe, cool, didn't know the stash had a higher limit. While I do feel your pain over the stash being small item-wise, I think the money-cap is a good thing...but then, I haven't reached the point yet where I have so much money I can't "make" any anymore.

Now that I'm a centennaire (heh), I'm thinking of speculating with my shiznitz. Like, buy a whole bunch of (rare) materials at a low price and then sell them when they go up. Even a small raise could make a definite profit on a big amount of materials. For example; I'm gonna pay special attention to the materials used for the new classes' armors...logic dictates that should they use any of the original materials of GW, the demand for those materials should go up...so, invest, I will!


Btw...I frapped some vids today, would you mind hosting them? Just checking. Not that they're that spectacular...first is me farming 5 or 6 ettins with my war (20mb) but hard to make much out. Second is me cleaning up the last 5 imps or something on a solo IDS run. Also war.

About IDS solo: if you're unlucky you get freaking lvl 24 ice golems in there now...it's a change they put in. Nothing MAJOR, except for the fact that they use rust and therefore fuck up my healing sig (and thus the whole run). Pev might have less troubles.

Be sure you're encoding the stuff. I use Windows Media Encoder.....I customize the output, though. I use CD quality VBR for the audio, I think 64kb/s. The video I used to run at 512kb/sec, but that was kinda...fuzzy. The most recent video I posted was 1000kb/sec, but it's kinda big (filesize wise). I'm thinking somewhere in the middle.

I also use 640x480 as the video dimensions. I'm thinking of bumping it up to 800x600 and keeping the 1000kb/sec to see how that looks. Same file size, but larger resolution might make the file size worth it, depending on how the quality turns out.

Bears are actually the worst pet you can have, as they attack more slowly tan all other pets (due to their Brutal Maul; a skill that does no extra damage but takes lots of time to cast).

Ice golems never bother my ranger, they actually made the change a few weeks back, everyone was bitching coz lots of Warrior farmers use Dolyak Signet and Healing Signet. hehe

Well successfully got my Warrior through Riverside Province Saturday night with just henchies, then through Sanctum Cay, again with just henchies (mr "oh my god that ones too tough you'll never do it Ox", I did it first time ). Sunday morning before leaving for steves parents, I got to the desert with my warrior.

Today, I've stolen his brothers pc and installed GW on it... minimum graphics settings hurts. I just got my Monk through Riverside with henchies. Go me! hehe. So I'm having fun.

ooh and i think the money cap is a good thing; after all, even if you buy all the best possible weapons, its not like you have to buy the uber godly sword, since it doesn't exist. It's only runes and rare skins you're gonna pay for. Even a 15k/fow set of each armour is "only" going to set you back about 300plat. Most people who've hit the cap buy ectos or shards; they're expensive, stack in 250s and can always be sold again easily.

Wahey that you can still get on GW over there Pev, hehe. I'm guessing it's only when he's at school or out, but meh. Don't get infected by the spyware and the porn. hehehe

Congrats on doing Sanctum Cay btw...I still think it's hard tho especially the type of boss you get is important...if you get the monk boss during the last "rush", it can be a total bitch. But maybe you had the monk, meh.

Personally I've been trying to do Aurora's with my necro two-three times, failed spectaculary. Last run I got close to beating it, but still failed I'm guessing I will have to luck out on that one.

BUT....I'm not too bothered because I found a few really nice gold items during the mission (flatbow, smiting staff, etc.) and last but DEFINITELY not least: a superior absorption armor, hahahahaha.

Just like Pev's sup vig just one lucky drop from a white mantle in the jungle, hehe. I already put it on my war, which means that he's nearly "perfect". i'm gonna get a piece of knight armor in there for extra absorb and mod his weapons to perfection. I have the cash for that anyway (I had the cash for sup absorption too but i'm not crazy ).

Oh, I went to the rune trader with the rune to do a check on what a sup absorption would sell for: 85k....tempting, it was.
