In SWG, 2 people cant have the first name
In GW, 2 people can have the same first name because your name is tied to the whole name, not just the first part.

ok i'm pissed, i got guildwars lastnight but when i go to reg. keeps telling me that the access key is invald. Wow and there tech support sucks lol i'm still waiting for my response. Just my freakin luck. /cry I so wanted to play lastnight too.

heh right now they're more concerned with banning bot accounts than helping anyone else. Plus there's tons of people weighing their inboxes down with emails about "omg there so should be this in the game and I dont like that"... *sigh*

well problem solved i called best buy and they said i can bring it back and get a new game, yay me so i'll be playing tonight. whats everyones names? any suggestions as to what profession is better

what are bots?

Bots are scripts people run on there computers, that move the mouse and simulate key pressing so the character performs actions in game and its not them its the script. Thats a mmorpg bot. A fps bot would be like a aim bot which aims for you. Like you aim at a target and the aim bot aim directly for the head for instance. Satis used alot of these when he play WFA.

It's entirely up to how you want to play. There is no one proffesion that is better than any other.

yeah same as mole right now. I've got a few of my friends from Sacred that wanna join up with me in GW so I might play with them guys for a lil while... *shrugs* Problem is i'm on my third char right now so i'm repeating areas I already know

I'm still playing. I'm almost ascended with my Monk character, and close with my fighter. Anyway, I have a guild (APD) but if you guys want to make a ClanKiller guild I'm open for that, too. I've got a fair chunk of cash and can probably hook you up with cooler equipment if I know what professions you're going for.

As for what profession to be, depends on what you like. I started as a Ranger and didn't dig it too much. I have a healer monk, and I really dig that one. The warrior is fun too. Haven't tried elementalist or mesmer yet.

@11b: bastard. :p You're just mad cuz I had mad headshotting skillz. heheh. And I agree, SWG's whole first name thing was retarded. They did alot of stuff right there, too, though. Like the character customization. I regularly run into people in GW that look exactly the same as me (with the possible exception of armor or something). Bleh, anyway, SWG can go to hell.

Yeah, I think the dye system in guildwars should be changed.

There should be two types of dye (not including hair dye, that I wish was in the game) anyway, there should be primary and secondary dye. Primary dye's the major parts of the armour, and secondary should dye the trimmings.

@ Satis, unfortunately, thats all SWG had, character customization. I would rather look like every other guy in game and have a well built, sleek coded game, than a crappy coded game with awesome customization.

I think its just a matter of SWG appeals more to the roleplayer and GW more to skill.
