Post Games, not what they used to be.
So i walked into a bar the other night and...

No, ok, lets be sensible. Man, im having such a hard frikkin time finding a decent game nowadays. I spend a shit load of money on top titles and get bored withing the first 10 minutes of playing.

Here are the most recent (1 month) supply of games ive had.

Medieval Total War: Really cool fighting, Really dumb strategy map mode. Eventually crap.

Silent Hill 2: Yucky PS2 console conversion. No good.

Civilisation 3: Nothing added from Civ 2, who wants that? Lame.

XIII- Dumb. Nothing unique or fresh, just another dumb mindless FPS. An M60 isnt an "SMG"!!!!

Lionheart- Fiddly, dull and offers nothing new to RPGs. Crap.

Wolfenstein- Holy crap, the most boring, samey dull ass FPS in existence.

Project IGI- Old. Stupid.

Temple of Elemental Evil: Christ its like Lionheart only dumber.

Rise of Nations: Just got this one today, looks like it has potential.

Totally agree with you. I've been diggin out old games because new ones are such s*it that i dont have words to describe them.

Just dug out Hegemonia: Legions of Iron. Not much depth, overall rating is playable but alot better than Master of Orion 3. Moo3 must be the shitiest space strategy game ever. Its a total f*** up.

Too bad they froze Galaxy Andromeda, duh.

I`m even picked up my old save from TDD because i don`t see anything to my liking that isn`t overpriced (i`m forgetting that i can`t run anything decent on this pc but that`s a minor detail)

There is a good question: Why new games are not interesting as old ones. Serious question?

Perimeter sounds and espescially looks like a very good game, but my pc already dies when it sees the screenshots.
I think I'll be playing Transport Tycoon Deluxe and BGII untill Dragon Age is released, and shortly before that I will get a new machine.

My answer to your question Gman, would be, maybe because developers are running out of ideas?

Thief 3 gets real boring, IMO. Beautiful graphics, but it gets old. Also kills my PC... single-digit FPS at points.

I pretty much agree with the list. Far Cry was a damn good game, though it did have some issues. I agree, there really hasn't been anything uncommonly good this year. Oh, and personally, I don't like CoD.
