XIII screenies
This is cel-shading.
Some of the violence is pretty golden.

It looks pretty good in motion. I made a video with fraps, but the sound isn't synchronized (by like a second or more). I'll see what I can do.

Heh...it's actually this game that I picked up the word "cell-shading" from and used it in the Far Cry discussion. hehe. Violence looks fabulous.
Anyone ever read the XIII comics? They're fucking great. Lately they're becoming a bit weaker in terms of storyline, but still. Prolly cos the writer announced he'd stop the series in a few years. On the bright side, we'll finally get to know who and what XIII actyally is.
When my bro was struck down with a hernia (at 18, what a suckah ) a cousin of ours borrowed him his entire comics collection, including full series of XIII, Thorgal and largo Winch. Of course, the bastard didn't really appreciate their coolness and didn't much read them, but it gave me the chance to read the entire series in onen, long, golden stretch. Er..so, cell-shading rocks. And who read the books?

Not me. Didn't even know it was a comic! But yeah, I like cell shading, I learned it from JSR. which reminds me I want to buy JSRF.

errr....it's not. I have no clue how to compress it. It's like 30 megs right now, and like 15 seconds. And the sound is off (like I said). I don't know what program to use to resize it, so I'm just not doing anything with it. I may post the whole thing...but 30 megs is alot.
