I had commandos here untill someone broke the cd, still have commandos 2. Was really addicted to the first one, the second one i didn't play that much, but at least i managed to pass a few missions. It's hard however, damn hard.
Btw isn't commandos 3 out already for a few months?

Maybe not fully 3D, but you'll have to do a lot of camera turning yes. But compare this to that, in C2 you'll have to enter a lot of buildings for instance.

hehe...you just need a LOT of patience with commandos..it's basically a game of chess, everytime. The pieces are set, and they can only patrol/hear/see in certain directions. And you just have to make sure that every "station" you advance is safe enough to hide a few ppl. I played commandos I+ the expansion (now THAT was hard lol) and commandos 2. Commandos 3 looks great but i'm afraid it'll be a bot too "busy" for me.

I fully agree with Ox. It's a gam of chess, just as challenging.

im stuck though on the Night of the Wolves. you know the level at night in the dock on Comm2. Basically ive done all the objectives except for a secondary one, and so ive ben told to get the little french spy under bunk-bed for me to complete the level, but he wont get down hthere. What do i do?

a) are you trying the right bed?
b) don't know if it's necessary but does he have his dog in his backpack?
My guess is it's the wrong bed you're trying, i remember i passed this lvl sneaking in through a window and then hide under the bed. I think.

This is what i found in a walkthrough:
PHASE THREE: FROM DUSK TILL DAWN
Get Natasha to access the guard shack near the gate leading outside the compound. Use the radio here to contact HQ. After the conversation, get Lupin to head into the building where the beds are located. Head inside the room at the far right when the patrolling guard is facing the other way and close the door. Now crawl under the bed and wait for dawn to arrive... Mission accomplished!!!
So maybe you still need to move natasha first before he can hide under the bed.
Which secundairy objective didn't you clear btw?

Played Commandos I + expansion and Commandos II. Even bought it when it was just released Never finished that one though, it's just too long. You know... you get the game, you start to play, you get bored after a few days, leave it alone, remove it, reinstall it a few months later, start over again, get bored after a few days, etc. Gameplay is good though
