This is an online-based game again, but unlike KoC you don't need to be online all the time. You could mostly manage with 1 or 2 checks a week even. It's about football (soccer) and fairly straightforward. There's loads of help to be gotten, and if not on there you could always ask me here ofcourse. it's totally free, but you might face a waiting list depending on which country you're in. If you're in Egypt the waiting list is minimal, for example. I hope someone will take this up as well, so we could arrange some friendlies one day, or maybe even play a competitive game if you're belgian. And let's see if this gets picked up by the americans too. It's good fun, trust me! P.S. if anyone would want to look up my team; it's (surprisingly) named "FC Rinoxia". In the lowest Belgian division lol. |

I'm signing up now, some damn moron already has the name Arathorn, I really need to copyright it soon. I'm now MC Escher with FC De Bottenbrekers (bonebreakers) from Amsterdam. At fist I wanted to use the name Vinnie Jones (my favourite bonebreaker), but that name was taken as well. |

Hehe...it'll prolly be a while before you're assigned a team, and prolly it'll be a team on the bottom of the league as we're half-season now. But let me know when you're in eh! We'll play a friendly sometime. |

Hehe, yeah, but i'm kinda trying to fill a fincancial pit atm...i'm playing friendlies against a mate of mine at his arena with cup rules, to help my situation a bit. (his arena: more spectators, cup rules: shared profit, even if i'm the away team) But as soon as i hit -100000€ my interest will be beareable and you're on! This week's economical status of F.C. Rinoxia: This week Revenue Expenses Crowd 0 Arena 3 900 Sponsors 30 360 Wages 21 248 Financial 0 Interest 8 219 Temporary 240 Temporary 0 Staff 9 000 Youth squad 0 Total revenue 30 600 Total expenses 42 367 Expected income/loss -11 767 (financial means: -164 374 Euro ) It was an away league game this week, hence the 11k loss, stupid capital interests Make sure you play your b-team tho, not your a-squad. That gets trained anyway with the league matches, so this way both your a and b-players get trained. So, who's your star player, or rather, your least crap one? Btw, make sure to check F.C. Rinoxia's league position hehehe...8 games played, 8 games won, 17 goals made, zero goals conceived Cattenacioooo! |

My not so extremely pathetic player is: Stan Prak, 153 000 Euro, 24 years, poor form Has poor experience and solid leadership abilities Stamina: weak Keeper: disastrous Playmaking: inadequate Passing: solid Winger: passable Defending: passable Scoring: poor Set Pieces: passable Quite worthless aye? |

That's not very crappy, to be honest. He's just not really great at anything, but relatively good at a few things. (relatively as in, bottom-league good) Make sure you position him as a winger, with passable winger and solid passing he'll make a difference there. I see that he's got solid leadership (not very common), which means that he can have a great or extremely bad influence on the rest of your team depending on how well-liked he is. What's his "liked-ness"? I cross my fingers it's "popular", cos if it's "controversial" or worse you're better off selling the guy, he'll only make the team spirit worse. (player with greatest leadership: leader of the team (duh), depending on his personality (popular, sympathetic, pleasant, controversial, nasty) he will have a good or bad influence on the team spirit) |

Btw, before i'm off to sleep, some tips when you're searching the transfer markets and stuff: ->the skills stamina, passing, set pieces are more or less secondary skills. Don't pay too much for a player just cos he's excellent or solid at any of those. Ofocurse, it's cool if they are, but not worth the extra cash. skills important to positions (from most important to least) ->keeper: Keeper (duh), set pieces ->central defenders: defending (duh),passing ->wing backs: defending, winger ->inner midfield: playmaking, passing ->wingers: winger, passing ->forwards: scoring, passing Make sure all the players on a certain position are ok in the primary stat of their place. Set pieces is only useful for one player, as only one can take the free kicks. (but keeper has an obvious need for it too, if possible) Stamina is important for everyone except the keeper. But make sure that especially your midfield has sufficient stamina. If it doesn't they'll get tired real quick and lose their grip on midfield. Blah...having a good keeper always helps too...what your best keeper's keeping stat? If you're lucky he's passable, cos keepers are frigging expensive. I payed 200k € for my solid keeper. And that's a bargain for a 20-yr old keeper. Attackers are much cheaper, if you're lucky you can get a young solid scorer for a mere 100k €. If it helps, my transfer history: Date/Type/Players/Price/Value then 12/25/2003 Bought Markku Halmetoja from Bloodletting 51 000 Euro (10 000 Euro) 12/20/2003 Bought Antonio Barbarán from Pinguins Brugge 10 000 Euro (58 000 Euro) 11/22/2003 Bought Teodosie Matei from Argentina Barrial 104 000 Euro (20 000 Euro) 11/20/2003 Bought Juan Santa Ana from Padre Gomez 199 000 Euro (52 000 Euro) 11/15/2003 Bought Jin Gu-ni from RSC Blues Brothers 199 000 Euro (298 000 Euro) ->Jin Gu-ni is my solid keeper ->Juan Santa Ana is a solid playmaker with excellent stamina and solid set pieces ->Teododosie Matei is a solid scorer ->Antonia Barbarian is an inadequate backup keeper ->Markku Halmetoja is an old (33) midfielder, very experienced and solid playmaking. He's injured tho and recovers reeaaaal slow since he's an old biatch |
