Post GoG sale
Go check it out (you've probably all seen it anyway). Huge sales including for the next 18 hours a ridiculous DnD bundle offer:

Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga
Baldur\'s Gate 2 Complete
Planescape: Torment
Neverwinter Nights Diamond
Neverwinter Nights 2 Complete
Icewind Dale Complete
Icewind Dale 2 Complete
Temple of Elemental Evil, The
Dungeons & Dragons: Dragonshard
Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone
all that is £13.60, should be nearer £65 normally!

I'm tempted by a few things, might get Bards Tale for a hefty £1.29.

Yeah, the GoG sale was pretty good. :) You forgot to mention that you could get 2 games (Mount and Blade + The Witcher 2) and a movie for free if you just 'collected stamps' 7 times - basically log in and click on a box. So two very good free games for 7 clicks. GoG really is pretty amazing.

I already owned almost all of the games I wanted to buy during the sale though. Still in doubt about Kentucky Road Zero...

Dammit I did the log in thing for 3 days then forgot... still I already own those games and didn't care about the movie. I got a couple of things cheap, I was the same though, own most stuff I wanted. Did preorder Pillars of Eternity however for some price off, plus they gave me £6 back for the fair price thing which I used to purchase a couple of the super cheap (like £1.85 type) deals so essentially got free games.

There is another GoG sale on...'winter' sale! Obviously not as great as a Steam Sale and desperately trying to pre-empt it, but some nice stuff in there for very cheap.

And you can grab a free copy of Age of Wonders (the original) just by logging in and claiming it! Yay!

Even if you never spent a penny on GoG you could have built a pretty impressive library on it by just claiming all their free stuff by now. Some really good games too, not just crappy games.

Think you can pick up Giants: Citizen Kabuto for free now on GoG.

Don't know if it's worth mentioning really, but it's free. :D

Thanks J, I picked it up. :-) (a few days ago)

I like Gog.com a lot but I try to use it mostly for indie and old games, not for their new games. Even if it IS cheaper than Steam, I kinda feel like I should keep most of my games in the same place.
